You shouldn't be driving around cities as a tourist. Large cities have public transportation and small ones are walkable, as is this one. You just need to figure out where you need to stay that has car parking available. Not only is Salzburg small, you can't drive in parts of it. There may be places you want to drive outside of Salzburg proper, I didn't have a car so didn't go anywhere else but I've heard ot some things to see.

The center of Salzburg is a pedestrian zone - you will need to leave the car outside. (The same is true of many european cities.)

I would assume you can park your car at or near your hotel and then tour the city on foot.

There is parking in a cave, yes a cave, on the edge of the Altstadt. From there you can find most of the interesting sights within walking distance. Plan to have a meal at sankt Peters stiftskeller behind the Sound of Music cemetery. The upstair is white table cloth and Mozart concert expensive. The downstairs celler has a less expensive but delicious menu. The restaurant has been open since about 800 ad.

You have been asking many questions related to traveling to European big cities by car. I am not sure where you are coming from, but I presume where you live, you go everywhere by car and expect to find places to park. As others mentioned, that model of moving around is not allowed or a royal PIA in many cities you mentioned. To get a feeling of what you are up against, use the google map, that is maps.google.com and use the street view by dropping that yellow guy from the map onto places of interest. For example, in the old town Salzburg, you see only pedestrians.
