How much money should I bring on trip to Europe
Hi,
I will be traveling to Europe for 3 weeks in December with stops in Prague, Berlin, Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam. Flight and Accommodations have already been paid. Just trying to get a round about amount to bring. Any help would be appreciated.

Don't bring any. Use credit cards for major purchases [probably just main meals if you've already paid for flights and accommodation] and a debit card to withdraw cash as you need it from ATMs.

You should only bring a minimal amount - couple hundred dollars (or whatever your currency is).
Whatever spending money you need (local currency) should be taken from ATM machines. You'll get a better exchange rate from an ATM than from exchanging your currency to local currency.

Just be sure you notify your bank and credit card companies of your plans to avoid a frozen card.
Myself, I prefer to have 100 euros or so in my pocket when I land. It may cost a dollar or 2 more in exchange but to me it's worth it as getting out of the airport asap is my top priority upon landing.

That is a different story, so you aren't really going to "bring" all this money with you?
It depends on your mode of travel and what kind of places you dine, I'd say. Roughly, I probably spend around 50-75 euro a day when on vacation outside my accommodation. I don't worry about what I spend, am not on any strict budget, so I am not trying to eat at the cheapest places. But I don't eat a lot (ie, I rarely eat breakfast and don't snack between meals) and don't spend on expensive restaurants, and I don't buy hardly anything (such as clothing, gifts, or any thing). That's just the way I am, it's not a plan. So that 50-75 euro is just my meals, local transportation and entertainment/admissions. I dine nicely for dinner (eg, maybe 35-40 euro total), don't care much about lunch but eat something, of course.

Personally I would allow an average equivalent of $50 a day for transport passes, occasional snack/drink, incidentals and gifts.
If I were on a budget I could do it for less. If I were paying for lunches and dinners, or were where I needed to use taxis, etc. I would allow more, depending on how I handle meals.
Clearly that's an estimate, but allowing for $1000 or so in the ATM account to withdraw as needed would be the minimum I'd want. It really does depend on how you travel and what's included (I'm guessing you are on a tour).
