Well we spent 14 days in Iceland a couple of years ago and we could have stayed more.
It really comes down to what you want to see and how much you have to spend. We toured virtually the whole of Iceland and each area offered a different experience.
The travelling between places is very slow on the Icelandic roads so if you have limited time try and stay in one or two places so you can enjoy those attractions rather than trying to see everything and end up spending most of the time travelling.
