We are traveling on March 30th from rome to priano and are looking for suggestions on the best way to go. Do we take the train to Sorrento, or Naples? Then how do we to priano from there? Is there another way other than by bus?
Thank you for your help.
How do i get from rome to priano?

Train to Naples, then a different train to Sorrento, then either the bus or a driver to Praiano (watch the spelling).
Fast AV train from Rome Termini to Naples. Change to the local Circumvesuviana train (downstairs in Naples train station) to Sorrento. Catch Sita bus to Praiano.
By train bus you'd need to get a Eurostar Italia service from Rome to Naples ( €1hr 10mins). Better to get this advance as the fare increases the closer you get to the date of travel. From Naples you can get one of the frequent local Circumvesuviana www.vesuviana.it services to Sorrento (around an hour - €3/4) and then a bus the last part of the way from Sorrento to Praiano (€3-4 - 1hr)
An alternative though I haven't done it myself is to take the ferry from Naples to Amalfi or Positano, and then a bus from Amalfi to Praiano. http://www.metrodelmare.net/Not sure how long it would take but might be nice?
For bus information you could use: http://www.metrodelmare.net/

Hi Ash,

The best way is to take the train to Naples Centrale and then a limo to Praiano.
We were pleased with Limousine Service Sorrento (Renato Cuomo)

Also check Francesco. http://www.francescomarrapese.com/
I doubt Metro del Mare will be running in March.
Another option is the Marozzi bus from Rome's Tiburtina station (it's on the metro also) to Sorrento. Departures at 7am or 3pm on 3/30 - 18€. From Sorrento the Sita bus to Praiano.

Is it Praiano you are asking about or Priora which is a tiny community (very tiny!) just outside Sorrento?

That website has not been SITA's for a year or so. Someone else has it, but it's not the bus company.
