How convenient to Central London is Fulham?
I am finding many reasonably priced flats and townhouses for rent in Fulham. As they say "(In the Highly Sought after Residential Area of Fulham)".
Is this area convenient to the sights and sounds of London. Once we get to the tube how long a trip is it?
Thanks.
Donna

Beware the infamous elastic london geography! "Fulham" could be anywhere from the Kings Rd to North End Rd - and there's a world of difference!
If you have specific addresses we'll probably be able to help (I work for Hammersmith and Fulham Council so know the area well)

This is a standard Victorian terrace house, in what is indeed a sought-after area. Neighbours are likely to be fairly well-heeled professionals and media people.
It's between a quarter and half a mile from Fulham Broadway underground on the District Line, and close to Fulham Road for buses to South Kensington, Harrods, Hyde Park Corner and central London:

Patrick's on the money. It's in Parsons Green, which is a very upmarket part of the world.
The local pub there is called the White Horse, universally known as the Sloaney Pony which should give you an idea of what the place is like. The other pub in the area - Novellos - has an Elvis tribute night every week, so there's something for everyone.
I would say it's a good choice.

at £850/week in sept with only a £50 deposit, this sounds like a good deal. they don't mention VAT so i would ask if it is included. linen is included but make sure there are no additional charges for electricity, etc.
