You might try the Dream Map function on Travelocity's web site. I believe their Canadian address is www.travelocity.ca.

A summer high-season fare of $500 or less Canadian is going to be a very tall order. Maybe you could check with a travel agency that specializes in European travel with charters & consolidators. Perhaps Montreal's large French-speaking population would make France a good bet as a reasonably-priced destination?

I don't know if this will help you but try www.sunholidays.ca. Did you check out specific airline websites such as Air Canada,British Airways,Lufthansa? The european airlines often have a link for a specific country and you could then check out fares from Montreal. If you can't find anything on the net why don't you just get a travel agent to scout out something for you?

www.herman.on.ca has good list of charter flights and a $100 early booking discount currently.

As a fellow Canadian traveller, I would suggest that you sign up for Air Canada's cheap web-specials that come out every Wednesday via e-mail subscription. Although advertised domestic fares are usually for that week-end, the international destinations can sometimes be booked up to a couple of months in advance. Go to the Air Canada site (www.aircanada.ca) and sign up and that will give you some idea of their fares in this, the cheap season. To illustrate, Air Canada just had a Web Special for Halifax to London up to the end of March, and I think the fare (inclusive of all tax and service charges) was around C$560.00. Considering that's the cheap season, I would think you are going to find it tough for a summer fare within your limits. As for using a travel agent, I don't know how much time he/she will put into the search for you, so you may do better on your own, visiting the web pages for the different European airlines which fly into Montreal. Good luck, and let us know how you made out. <BR>Dale

Try exit.ca and lastminuteclub.com. Right now, Air transat is offering $100 of their fares...but I don't know what that translates into for the high season months. Good luck. We pay much more than the Americans between the exchange rate and the taxes...
