Hotels in Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, San Sebastián

Believe or not, am having difficulty finding available hotels in September/October. Am looking for hotels up to $500 USD per night. Has anyone heard of Grand Luxury hotels, a booking site? How do I find out if it is legitimate?
Is the area around the Prado deserted in the evening?

Help would be appreciated. Thank you for your advice and help.

In Madrid we stayed at Las Letras hotel on Grand via. Excellent hotel and location. we could walk everywhere.
In Barcelona we stayed at H10 Montcada. It also was excellent and in a very good location. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at either of them again

Booking.com for accommodation. Reviews and facilitates plus price and map can all help you find the ideal location.
What do you call evening? Most Spaniards are out on the streets until late at night. The Prado is located in a "Park" but the area around has housing. Are you wanting a lot of nightlife? You are not very clear on this subject.

In Barcelona I can highly recommend Hotel Neri. As Barcelona as it gets, both medieval and cutting edge. Right in the heart of town, but down a secluded alley towards hidden Plaça Sant Felip Neri with its tragic civil war history. Our best hotel experience ever after much traveling in Spain for some 30 years: https://www.relaischateaux.com/us/sp...luna-barcelona

Check out fashionable and old world Hotel Londres y de Inglaterrra right on the La Concha Beach promenade in San Sebastián. https://www.hlondres.com/en/

You might be too late, at least September is hectic in San Sebastián with the Basque culture festival Euskal Jaiak at the beginning of the month and the international film festival towards the end.

We are staying at the Madrid Palace, booked through Amex Fine Hotels.
They have good hotels in Barcelona too.
Also check Leading Hotels of the World. $150 fee to join.

We were at the Madrid Palace a couple of weeks ago and enjoyed our stay. Down to the boulevard and to the right for about 3 blocks La Taperia is a nice friendly little restaurant.

In Bilbao, I really enjoyed Hotel Carlton.

In Madrid, the AC Recoletos by Marriott was very good and a good location but I was staying on points on both occasions.
