Helaine: Frommer's Portugal gave the Palace Hotel a good review. We will be visiting Portugal in early Nov and are also interested in Coimbra, Figueira da Foz and surrounding area. From past experiences in large European cities, we will probably spend only a day or two in Lisbon. This is our first trip to Portugal, so any tips would be greatly appreciated.
