We are finding great Germany hotel prices on hotel.de and wondered if any fodorites have used this website to book hotels. If so, can you recommend it or share your experience. Thank you very much.

No problems so far. But prices aren't "great"
I used them once for a hotel in Berlin and found them reliable.
I have used hotel.de to book hotels in Germany and Switerland and found them best in terms of price/quality ratio.
Used them one or two times. Worked out as it was supposed to do. Other resellers sometimes have better prices, e.g. hrs.de
Used them recently to book our last night's hotel near Frankfurt Airport. Better price than the hotel's website. No problems.
Have used them multiple times with no problem. You can find private hotels there that do not have their own web site, often helpful in out of the way or less popular locations. Double check prices since they are not always the best deal.
