Hotel with AC in Paris
Hi, looking for hotel in paris in august for me, husband, teenager and my mom, who's 80 and won't like a lot of stairs and might really need AC.
Something moderate, and near a metro stop. But open to left, right or inbetween.any ideas?
sorry this is such a boring question.

Hotel Monge in the 5th has AC and elevator. Not sure what you mean by "moderate" but the price should be between 100 and 125 euros for a double. Hotel Muguet in the 7th has both also, and it is more expensive than Monge.

thanks for tips. "Grand Hommes" site had great advance summer deals. As did its sister hotels on its site. Prices were 85 to 110 a night for late august. Of course, you lose the whole kaboodle if you cancel.

astur is the the deal where you pay up the full amount up front. I didn't for that , still got a good deal at 110 a night with breakie,, in late July.
Now, with the dollar dropping and the euro so strong, maybe paying full up front will be an advantage, say the dollar sinks even lower, it must be better to pay now a $1.50 dollar to euro , then if it goes even lower, say $1.60 to one euro!!

The L'Aiglon on Boulevard Raspail near the intersection with Boulevard Montparnasse has air conditioned rooms.
The superior doubles cost a little more but the bathroom is more than adequate and the entrance foyer has a real closet.
I have stayed there twice and thought it was a good location because Metro and bus lines were close.

I am staying at the Best Western Marais Bastille on Blvd Richard Lenoir in July. It has A/C and an elevator. It is between two nearby metro stops.
Unfortunately I can give you a first hand account just yet.
