We are considering staying at the Hotel Ucciardhome in Palermo. It is in the Old City near the gardens. When in a city we like to be where we can leave the hotel and walk or metro/subway/taxi everywhere. Anyone have thoughts on whether this is the right location and a nice hotel? Rate seems phenomenal and Frommers has nice things to say. Thanks. Less than 2 weeks to go and I am really so grateful to Fodorites for all the kind help.
