Hotel stay in Wengen, switzerland

Hi, I want to stay in Wengen. Please advise for the hotel in Wengen with my two kids (6 yr and 8 yr) which has good view and easy to reach the transport/train etc to travel because I have 2 kids.. Thanks in advance.

Every hotel in Wengen is a short walk from the train station - a small town - you mention in your other thread a budget of $300/nt US a night - good for others to recommend to know.

topping (you can do when your thread sinks into Fdor's black hole to bring it back to light until someone knowing sees it).

Hi Nadeem_Iqbal,

I've stayed at the Hotel Alpenrose two times and liked it immensely both times. It's not close to the train station, but they have an electric van and will pick you up at the train station.

Please keep in mind that many hotel rooms in Europe are very small, and it would be dangerous (and a violation of occupancy/safety/fire regulations) to put 4 people in a small room. So, you may have to get a huge family room. It could be cheaper and more convenient to get two connecting doubles -- that's how my family travelled throughout Europe in the 1960s.

Have fun as you plan!
