Hotel Splendido, Portofino - What's that song?
Someone on this board mentioned that they go to the Hotel Splendido in Portofino's website so they could hear the song that plays. So I bit and now I want to know, what is the song that is being sung and who sings it? Anyone know? (It so makes me want to stay there but I decided for the first time to look at their rates. Yikes!!)

in '01 we paid 1350 a night, but i believe it included meals! no the song but don't know who sang it.

I believe it's called "Love in Portofino" and sung by Fred Buscaglione.

actually it was lira back then! forgot.
lunch or dinner on the patio there would be a great alternative to the high prices, beyond romantic and elegant, but yet casual, linquine and lobster, rack of lamb........
