Hotel recommendations in Rome Pantheon area

I have read many reviews but can't decide on which hotel to choose for our 7 night stay in Rome in March. I narrowed it down to the Pantheon and Navona area. This seems to be the central location to walk to most sights. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance

we have stayed at hotel parlamento several times. good price and family run. nothing fancy, but they do have an elevator. a 4 minute walk to the pantheon. you can walk pretty much anywhere from there.

Very nearby Piazza Navona (steps) is my favorite, the Hotel Portoghesi. Costwise, somewhere in between the del Senato and Parlamento, I think.

Hands down - Albergo del Senato. Request a room overlooking the Pantheon.

We stayed at the Relais Maddalena last year and are doing so again this October. It's a small hotel located only a block or so away from the Pantheon on a small piazza. The service is excellent and the rooms are quite nice with a more than abundant breakfast. Take a look at RelaisMaddalena.com

Another vote for ALBERGO DEL SENATO. We've stayed there four times. Each time the room has come with breakfast. If you want an amazing room there, check out The Seminario Suite or one of the suites on the 6th floor. Seminario has no view, but is quite large with a restored hand painted fresco ceiling, excellent AC, and renovated bathroom with powerful shower.

I just got back last week from a 4 night's stay at Albergo del Senato. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel. The staff was so warm, friendly, and informative. Great breakfast every morning (included in room price). Loved the rooftop terrace and bar. The rooms were immaculate. We had a room overlooking the Pantheon. Loved this hotel!

PotenzaRon:

Thanks for the info on the Relais Maddalena. I just booked a room for a few days in September. Great reviews on Booking.com too.

In May I stayed at the Indigo St George, on the via Giulia, in easy walking distance of Piazza Navonna, the Pantheon, the Vatican, and other sites. Extremely pleasant hotel with rooftop bar/lounge, on a quiet street filled with interesting shops.
