Hotel recommendation in Berchtesgaden
We're planning to spend three nights in Berchtesgaden in December.
We were there in 2001 - loved it and loved the hotel we chose, Hotel Bavaria, which wasn't yet officially open for the season which just added to its charm.
However, I've read some recent reviews about Hotel Bavaria that indicate it's in a noisy spot, so I'm waffling about booking it again. We're both light sleepers, and quiet is very important to us.
Any recommendations for alternate accommodation? We will be traveling by train, so walking distance to train a big plus. We'd prefer something in the 120-140 Euro range.

Hotel Grünberger faces the river and looks nice. We stayed in a guest house with a busy body owner. We laugh about it now but really turned my husband off from those sort of accommodations. It did have a great balcony. We had a surprise snow storm and no snow tires on the car. We took the bus to Salzburg for one day and spent most of it in an Irish pub. It was really miserable weather to be outside. Hope you find something.
