Hotel Pulitzer, Barcelona

Happy New Year everyone. We are looking for a hotel in Barcelona in the $250 (per night) or under range. Any thoughts or comments from posters on the Hotel Pulitzer in Barcelona? I could swear I saw some comments posted in a Barcelona hotel thread, but the search function turns up none.

The Hotel Pulitzer is fine, nice location, and good staff, but the rate will depend on when you're planning on being there.

Thank you Robert, it looks like I can get a fairly decent rate in September. Thank you for the link annhig, although I was looking for comments from posters, it is useful website.

Check out the reviews on TA: http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Rev...Catalonia.html.

We stayed there a few years ago, and really loved it! Great location just off the Plaza Catalyuna but on a quiet street. Nice modern decor, great large breakfast room with tons of light, and a nice selection of food. We found everyone to be very helpful, would stay there again on a return visit.

We stayed at the Hotel Regina which is next door to the Pulitzer.

As jgg said the location is great. I had checked out the Pulitzer too and all the reviews were very positive.
