We'll be staying in Lyon for four or five nights. I think we'd prefer to be in the Vieux Lyon and am wondering if anyone has any recommendations. We tend to have an early meal out and spend most of the evening in our hotel, so would like more comfortable seating than a typical desk chair -- small couch or upholstered arm chair(s). Also, would want at least a mini-fridge. Ideally we'd like to spend $150 or less. Thanks for any suggestions! If you have a recommendation outside of Vieux Lyon we would certainly consider it.

We too will be in Lyon for four or five nights in September and would like recommendations on where to stay. We have been happy staying at AirBnB's in Paris and truthfully haven't even looked yet for something in Lyon through the AirBnB site. Since I saw this thread I thought I'd jump on it for reference. We will not have a car so something more in town would be our preference. We would be willing to pay $200-$250 a night. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I stayed at the Mecure Wilson.

Would look at OKKO. Good location.

Loved the pike quennels at La Voûte-Chez Lea near Pont Bonaparte.

Thank you all for your recommendations. I will look into them for sure. I went on the VRBO.com website and found a lot of places there too, some very, very reasonable in price. It's nice to have different and lots of options! I will have to see what my husband will prefer!

if you're searching for Apart'Hôtel in Lyon, you can visit Appart'Ambiance website. They have aparthotels in every districts of lyon.
Best location is close to Bellecour, which is really central, close to Vieux Lyon and with lots of restaurants en shops.
