Try the Hotel Ibis. Part of the Accor group chain (also operate Sofitel, Novotel, Mercure properties). Free shuttle from/to the nearby airport, basic but clean and cheap rooms, in houe restaurant with decent food and very reasonable prices. There are actually two Ibis locations near CDG - ask when you make reservation. Toll free US# is 1-877-424-7552

I agree with the Ibis hotel. We have stayed in both and prefer the Ibis Roissy. <BR>

The Ibis is a good choice. I stayed there last year. I just got back last night and spent the night before at the SAS Radisson Hotel. One mile from the airport and they have shuttle service. The hotel itself is nicer than the Ibis. They have an indoor swimming pool, whirlpool, and some exercise equipment. Very quiet rooms. We were able to get a twin room at a price of 650 francs through their website. The same price was quoted when I called their 800 line. A very good value.

Thanks for the replies. Did get a reservation for the Ibis for 495ff. Since we are a family and needed 2 rooms, this offered significan savings over the SAS.
