Hotel in Stockholm

Hi folks,

I will be traveling to Stockholm on business during the first week in June. My meeting is in the Stockholm International Fairs. Are there any 4 or 5-star hotels within walking distance of the mtg location?

I have been given the following names: Nordic Light, Sheraton Stockholm, and Radisson Viking.

This is my first trip to Stockholm. Would appreciate any and all help!

Thanks.

A good place to start would be to read the Stockholm section of Fodor's Scandinavia, available at Amazon.com.

I don't know what you are interested in, but Gamla Stan (the old town) should be on your hit list. The national museum, I forget the name, is interesting. Also a trip up to and a tour around Uppsala is memorable.

I lived in Gamla Stan for 3 years in a little house on the street, Stora Nygatan. I would second staying in this area for possibly 2 days. We used to take the ferry to the out-islands for dinner and I still think, 10 years later that living there was a true highlight of my much-traveled life. Have fun!! Threehearts
