hotel in Prague

A friend has recommended has Arcadia Residence in Prague. Has anyone stayed there? How about during summer? Trips to Ceskly Krumlov and Kutna Hora to the Sedlac Ossuary? Appreciate all the great opinions

I have not stayed there but know the area and you cannot get more central than there. There are a lot of narrow street around the area and they do become congested with toursits,I was in the area last week at it was pretty busy and that's well before the mass influx of the main part of summer.
Loads of bars and restaurants within spitting distance and easy to walk to the major sights.
You could do day trips to Kutna Hora by yourself or with one of the organised groups loads to choose from and all offering much the same.
Cesky Krumlov is a bit further away but possible as a day trip and again loads of companies offer this as a day trip. Still possible as a DIY trip but time consuming.

This is where we stayed in Prague about a year ago, February. Beautiful Art Nouveau hotel.

Not crazy touristy area but a lively area and totally walkable to crazy tourist area.

Think we paid about $125 for a double.

I've not sure what the question is about the day trips. I've done both as day trips and enjoyed them both. I didn't go to an ossuary, though, I wasn't interested in that but that is hardly the main reason to go to Kutna Hora (IMO, I gather others like ossuaries a lot given it's always mentioned as the main reason to want to go there).

There are a lot of good, cheap day bus tour companies operating out of Prague. I've used both Martin Tours and Prague Sightseeing tours, both were good. There are a couple others, also, I believe.

We stayed at the hotel residence Agnes last fall and give it our highest recommendation. It is near the Jewish Quarter. The service is beyond compare, it is centrally located and well priced. Great place!
