My husband and I (38 and 35) are going to Rome on November 23, staying at the Hotel Eden (using starwood points) any recommendations about the hotel? Recommendations for a restaurant for one nice dinner in Rome? (spending around $150 or less) thanks so much!

If you'll be there Thursday night, reserve a spot at Armando al Pantheon (right by the Pantheon, Via Cresenzi I believe). The Thurs specialty is coda alla vaccinaria...best thing I ever put in my mouth!!! (basically oxtail stew, but like nothing you ever imagined). I dream about it. Guinea fowl and duck were good on other nights.
I can't remember the name of the restaurant on the roof at the Hotel Eden, but I remember it was a fantastic restaurant, when I last stayed there many years ago. But not cheap!
Thanks! I'm still open to new recommendations.
Pierluigi was our best meal in Rome. The NY Times guy went there a couple of years ago and raved about it too - search there for his thoughts. (Might have been the frugal traveler guy.)

How time flies...this is from 2006, but I know the same people own it.
