Hotel developments Como

Jump to last reply

Two interesting hotel developments in Como.

Hilton Worldwide is going to open in Como in 2017. The news is that it will be a 5 star hotel but it is not yet known if it will be branded Hilton or Conrad - probably the former. It will be located in an ex silk printers building which has been completely reconverted. The location is about 300 meters from the lake and not far from Villa Olmo.

Sheraton is also opening in Como or rather Tavernola by rebranding the existing Grand Hotel di Tavernola (rated 4 star). This rebranding will take place next spring in time for the opening of the Expo 2015 in Milan. So good news for all those registered with Sheraton.

The Grand Hotel is a brisk 10 minute walk from the centre of Cernobbio.
