Vanda,
I was in Belgrade just over a year ago and don't recall seeing anything near the airport... You're probably best off staying near a stop on the "JAT" airport bus, perhaps at the Slavija hotel cluster (there appear to be 2 buildings in different price categories), since the airport bus terminal is located there. Got the info on the tourist board site at:
http://www.tob.co.yu/english/dolazak/avionom/jat.html#JAT%20autobuski%20transfer
These sites seem to provide good reviews of the different hotels in town (and the cheaper part of the Slavija doesn't do well AT ALL...):
http://solair.eunet.yu/~rabotic/hotels.htm
and
http://www.inyourpocket.com/yugoslavia/belgrade/en/category?chid=69
I stayed at the Hyatt Regency, which was quite nice but not cheap. Sorry I can't give you any specific hotel info beyond that.
Hope this helps,
Andre
Dear André
thanks a lot for your tips. I'll take a look at the sites you mentioned.
