Hotel at Gatwick North Terminal

I have a 7.25am flight from North Terminal at Gatwick Airport. Which is the closest hotel to the North Terminal check in desk please?

The Hilton is connected by walkway to the SOUTH Terminal; I believe from there you can get some sort of monorail to the North but the experts will soon appear so be patient as there's been a food fight going on.

There is a Sofitel directly connected to the North terminal, and a (considerably cheaper) Premier Inn a few steps away as well.

The closest are the Premier Inn (there are more than one but Premier Inn North Terminal is right there) and the Sofitel

Thank you. I like the Premier Inn prices better!

We stayed at the Hampton by Hilton in the north terminal and if you're using Easyjet it's particularly good as the baggage drop is just by the entrance.

The price we paid was pretty reasonable and it included breakfast, surprisingly. That was ok too. The room was bigger and better than expected and the bathroom was excellent.

the only mistake we made was NOT staying there when we had an early flight out of the north terminal. instead we somehow ended up in the Hilton proper at the South terminal which involved a ridiculous amount of walking even before we got to the hotel and just as much afterwards.

then, another great feat of planning on my part, we booked into the Hampton by Hilton when we had a flight into and out of the South terminal - but that turned out not to be so bad, despite having to use the monorail both ways.

But if you are flying out of the North terminal, particularly if it's on Easyjet, Hampton by Hilton is the way to go.

"Hampton by Hilton" is the UK version of "Hampton Inn" so yes it includes breakfast. If it is that close there's a possibility of doubling back after check in for a quick free breakfast before heading for security.
