We are a Canadian couple wanting to marry in Italy. However we would appreciate ideas of what to see, where to go in all of Italy. If anyone Canadian has married there, would appreciate any tips you can give!

Here's a hodgepodge of info I found searching "weddings" here on this forum, under Italy.

Message: I know that Fattoria Pagnana ( www.fattoria-pagnana.com ) has some perfect reception rooms for weddings and that this October are handling a wedding for a couple from England.
Apart from the "Country Cottages" they have for rental they apparently have 25/30 weddings each season so they ought to be pretty clued up about things.
You can reach them on info@fattoria-pagnana.com

Message: Hi Ilene,
I got married in Florence last april. It was wonderful. We used an agency we found on the web (www.gettingmarriedinitaly.com) and it worked out very well for us. I posted a trip report which covered most of the details but feel free to email mail me if you'd like more info.

Message: for what it's worth, someone in another forum recommended the villa rental co Grand Luxe Intl, www.grandluxe.com, and said their Lisa Habicht helped plan their entire Tuscan wedding.
Best wishes on your new life in marriage,
Rex
