Honeymoon Vienna, Prague, or Split?

Jump to last reply

My fiance and I are taking 8 days off for travel to Europe for our Honeymoon in late May (little behind the ball, we know!). We know we want to spend time in Dubrovnik, but aren't sure if we want to spend the entire time there. We did a little research and found that we could travel to Vienna, Prague or Split from Dubrovnik for the same amount of money as our flight to and from Dubrovnik only. We plan to spend M-F in Dubrovnik, then F-M somewhere else. Any recommendations on which of these three places we should go to for a weekend stop? Travel to Split is the quickest (2hr bus); Vienna and Prague were about the same, 6 hours travel time total.

Also, we are looking for a hotel in Old City Dubrovnik (within the city walls), any recommendations?

Thanks in advance!
