Honeymoon planning
I really don't know too much about Italy and I'm trying to plan a 10 night honeymoon in Italy and need some help. We really don't want to travel around too much and just want to sit around by the pool/beach, shop, eat, and sleep. I also really don't want to rent a car.
We are pretty sure that we want to stay in Capri but I'm not sure if we should stay in Anacapri or Capri. I've head great things about the Caesar Augustus in Anacapri but I'm afraid that we won't be able to get to Capri very easily. We're also thinking of heading to Positano since 10 days in Capri is probably too much.
Can someone give me some advice? I'm thinking of flying into Naples or Sorrento then taking the ferry to Capri for 5-6 nights and then the ferry to Positano for another 4-5 nights? If I do that can I get back to Naple easily to fly home? Should we stay in Positano and day trip to Capri or vice versa?
Thanks - Mark

Hi HM,
I go with buongiorno. Italy has so many wonderful places to visit that just hanging out around a beach/pool is a shame.
I suggest that you fly into Venice (3 nights) fly to Naples (2 nights) take bus to Sorrento and bus to Positano, or the ferry or hydrofoil to Positano (4 nights) and do a night on Capri.
From Capri or Positano you can take the ferry or bus to Sorrento and a bus to the Naples airport.

HI--a lot of people on this board have discussed their honeymoon itineraries to Italy. You could get lots of info by typing honeymoon and italy into the search box, as well as the names of the places you mention. Might be a useful resource...Best wishes on your upcoming marriage.
