Honeymoon Itinerary in Italy & Greece

Hi everyone! I'm planning my honeymoon right now, and wanted to get people's thoughts on my proposed itinerary. I basically have 2 weeks that I'm thinking of splitting between Italy and Greece. We're looking to have a pretty relaxing honeymoon where we can just soak in beautiful scenery, eat good food, and do some light sightseeing/activities. Definitely not looking for an action packed full itinerary, and not really interested in museums. I also don't want to feel too rushed or like I'm constantly on the go. Anyways... any and all thoughts are appreciated. Thanks!

Sunday May 7: Depart U.S. Evening
Monday May 8: Arr Milan - drive Lake Como
Tuesday May 9: Lake Como
Wednesday May 10: Lake Como
Thursday May 11: Lake Como - 3hr drive Genoa - train Cinque Terre
Friday May 12: Cinque Terre
Saturday May 13: Cinque Terre
Sunday May 14: Cinque Terre - train Genoa - fly Athens - fly Santorini
Monday May 15: Santorini
Tuesday May 16: Santorini
Wednesday May 17: Santorini - 2hr ferry Folegandros
Thursday May 18: Folegandros
Friday May 19: Folegandros
Saturday May 20: Folegandros - 2 hr ferry Santorini - fly Athens - overnight London
Sunday May 21: Fly Home in morning

In case you're wondering, I'm using miles to do the open jaw (U.S. - Milan, Athens - U.S.) and would need to buy a 1 way flight Genoa - Athens and roundtrip flight Athens - Santorini.

Years ago I spent my honeymoon on the island of Capri - super romantic - and made only excursions to surrounding Naples, Pompei, Sorrento and the Amalfi coast. I would do it again in a heartbeat and would not overload a honeymoon with a too ambicious "American - or Japanese - tourist's" (you know, of the kind: if it is Tuesday, we are in Belgium&quot program. A honeymoon is a honeymoon. You can do mad turist dashes at another time.

Yes, I think it is too turisty for a honeymoon: too strict an itinerary. If you want to remember the trip for the occassion = honeymoon, I'd say pick one romantic location (Lake Como or Cinqueterre or Capri, which i would still recommend ;-)) and make unplanned unscheduled spur of the moment day trips from there. Who knows: you might just want to sip wine on a tarrace overlooking mountains - or the sea - on the day you scheduled travel. Live a little: take time to enjoy your honeymoon.
