Honeymoon itinerary Edinburgh, Glencoe, Skye? I

Jump to last reply

Thank you for all the help so far. This is where we are as of now. Daughter and husband are flying into Edinburgh Sept. 12th out Sept. 23rd.

Edinburgh 12th-15th
Glencoe area or Highlands 15th-18th?
Skye 18th-21st?
Glasgow 21st-22nd????
Edinburgh 22nd-23rd

They don't want to spend everyday driving for hours. What would be the most convenient bases?
Glencoe looks wonderful but is it a good base?
A good base in Skye?
Where to break up the drive from Skye back to Edinburgh?
Do they need to drive the entire trip or can they take a train for part of it?

Any hotel or restaurant rec? Hotel budget $175-$300 per night. They are already booked in Edinburgh.
Thanks!
