Honeymoon Italy October

Hello! First post, but I wanted to get some feedback on our plan for our honeymoon this October!

We land in Rome on a Tuesday. We will take the train into Termini and walk to the Hotel Adler for three nights. On Friday we are going to take the train to Orvieto in the morning and rent a car from Hertz. We plan to drive to Montalcino for 3 nights at Dei Capitani or Palazzina Cesira. We will take a couple day trips from Montalcino, go to a winery (or two or three) and relax. On Monday, we'll head towards Florence on the 222. We'll drop our car at the Hertz and walk over to the Katti House and check out some sights open on Monday afternoon. Tuesday morning we'll do the David and Ufzzi, then get on the train to Monterosso. We are thinking of staying at La Spezzia for two nights. We won't arrive till later in the day, then the next day we'll hike and relax in the afternoon. We will wake up and hang out in the city, then make our way back to Rome for the final night, maybe at the Adler again because of it's close proximity to Termini. Then, we'll have to head home....

Any thoughts or feedback is much appreciated!! Thanks in advance!!
