honeymoon in Tuscany

I would love some comments/tips/ideas on the following itinerary:
My fiance and I are getting married in Lucca next year in May, staying there for a week with friends and family, then driving on to Elba for three nights, Montalcino two nights, Cortona two nights, somewhere in Chianti-area two nights, Lago Maggiore two nights andt then home (we live in Denmark and will be driving in our own car). We have been to Florens and Pisa before... We are dreaming of beautiful scenery, little hilltop villages, farmhouse or B&B stays, lots of wonderful food and wine and of course tranquility and romance! The only thing we have booked as of yet is the week in Lucca (farmhouse) and the three nights on Elba (Villa Ottone)
Thanks for any help you can give us!

Lena
