Hey everyone!
I'm getting married in May and honey and I have Europe in mind. We've never been there.
We have 12 nights 13 days. Hours of reading about cities to visit lead us to think Paris and Venice are musts, possibly Lucerne. A definite inclusion is a visit to Jungfrauloch.
We don't want to pack too many cities or take a package tour as it takes the romance out.
Looking for suggestions on the number of days to be spent per city/order of cities to visit/how to incorporate 1 night on a cruise.
Thanks!
Honeymoon in May'13

The cruise is a mystery to me - unless you are talking about a single night on the Rhine (not sure if this is doable - but you won't be near the Rhine - so it would take 3 days out of your trip).
I would stick with Paris, Interlaken and Venice - taking the train in between. You can take a boat ride on one of Interlaken's lakes (Thun or Brienz) to make up for a 1 night cruise).
And since you can;t count the day you arrive or the day you leave - if you have 12 nights you actually have 11 days. I would do:
Paris 5 nights (4 days)
Interlaken 3 nights (2 days)
Venice 4 nights (3 days)
The other 2 days are spent in travel.
Thanks nytraveler! We're planning just as you suggested.
