Honeymoon in Greece: End of September 2013

Jump to last reply

My fiance and I are planning a two-week honeymoon to Greece during the last two weeks of September. Just one small problem... we really have no clue where to go!

We are interested in visiting some Greek mythology sites like Mount Olympus and Ithaca. Does anyone have other mythology recommendations? Of course, we'd like to see some ruins and whatnot, but we really are looking for more things off the beaten path. We'd love to do some more adventuresome things (hiking, hang-gliding, etc) that would really show us the natural beauty of Greece.

Any suggestions for adventure/mythology heavy areas?
