the best way to find exchange partners is to join:
www.homeexchange.com
or www.homelink.org
katy
Or for exchanges in Europe, try www.intervac.com
Homelink.org and Intervac.com are the best home exchange sites. Homeexchange.com is full of new people many of whom have no idea what they want. The site needs to do a much better job of educating people on how to do a home exchange rather than just taking their money.
I have belonged to both Homelink and Intervac since 1990. I did try homeexchange.com and did not renew it after one year. Despite working homeexchange very heavily, I didn't even get one "nibble". No such problems from Homelink and Intervac.
41 exchanges down and two more coming up!
Well now it is 42 exchanges down (just finished Ottawa) with number 43 (Istanbul) coming up.
