Holiday in Croatia: mid June

My husband and I will be visiting Croatia this year in June for a 15 day island hopping holiday! I'm looking for some tips & suggestions. This is our itinerary:

2 days Split
3 days Hvar
2 days Korcula
4 days Dubrovnik

We'll be arriving in Split and taking the plane back from Dubrovnik. And we'll be taking ferries/ catamarans between Split, Hvar, Korcula & Dubrovnik. Are the ferries or catamarans reliable at this time of the year? I wanted to know if the amount of days in each place is enough, we do not want to be too rushed but at the same time we want to see as much as we can. The main aim of this holiday will be to relax by the water, eat good food and have a good time in the sun. We are thinking of doing a few day trips to Palkeni Islands/ Milna from Hvar and to Lopud & Montenegro from Dubrovnik. Also, would it be advisable to spend one day in Split and increase a day in Hvar? Or is it fine as it is?

Please help me with your comments or previous experiences. Thanks in advance :)
