Hiking the Lavander Fields in Provence

Jump to last reply

I'll be visiting Provence during lavander season this summer and I thought a nice way to spend a day is to visit the market early at L'Isle-sur-la-Sorge, pick up a picnic lunch there and drive to see the lavander fields around Sault. I have read that there is a hiking trail that goes through the fields near the town of Sault, but I can't seem to pinpoint where the trailhead starts. Has anyone done this trail? Or, is there a favorite picnic spot you can recommend?

Thank you!
