hiking in murren adivce

Jump to last reply

Hi my name is Peter. My friend and I have decided to spend a few days in the Murren in August and would like some recommendation on hikes in the area (going away from murren is possible as long as train ride is less then hour). We prefer hikes with excellent views throughout the hike over hikes where the main attraction is the destination itself. No to very little forests and easy to moderate difficulty and with a duration of perhaps 3-4 hours.
The one we chose was Walk 8003 - Mürren - Gimmelwald - Stechelberg

If there are hikes with better views please post recommendations.

Someone recommended Walk 8002 - Grütschalp - Winteregg - Mürren

Has anyone been on this hike and how is it?

Thank you for your time.
