Hiking in Austria and Innsbruck and Hallstatt
Hi Everyone,
I am looking to do some hiking in Austria and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas about where the best place to base myself in. My research shows Imst as one possibility or Alpbach.
Innsbruck and Hallstatt both look like beautiful destinations too although I don't know if they are good for hiking but if anyone has been to either and has any insights into if I should visit I would also be appreciative.
Thanks so much in advance to anyone who comments!
Many thanks,
Serica

I can't compare different potential destinations, but I do enjoy the Stubsital, a half-hour bus ride from InnsbruckL

We enjoy Seefeld in Tirol for hiking; there are trails and paths for every interest level. https://www.seefeld.com/en/
