Help w/trip plan

Jump to last reply

4 seniors planning trip to Spain in May, '14, & I like to plan early. I would appreciate some help with my first pass at our schedule:
After an overnight flight to Madrid
Day 1: Madrid
Day 2: Day trip to Toledo
Day 3: Madrid city tour & bull fight (Sunday at 7 PM)
Day 4: Day trip to Segovia
Day 5: Train to Granada & city tour
Day 6: City tour of Granada
Day 7: Pick up rental car, drive to Gibraltar & overnight in Tarifa (maybe take dip in Med)
Day 8: Day trip to Tangier, Morocco
Day 9: Drive to Sevilla, drop off rental car. Day tour in Sevilla
Day 10: Day tour in Sevilla
Day 11: Train to Barcelona
Day 12 & 13: Barcelona
On Day 14, we will fly via Vueling Air to Venice for a cruise thru the Greek Isles - if you are retired, no sense going across the pond for just 2 weeks.
I'd appreciate some info on trains & rental cars in Spain. I understand that I need an international licience in Spain - comments?
Is Vueling Air the best way to go re flight to Venice?
Thanks in advance for your help.
