Help with weekend in Prague
Hi Everyone,
Husband and I are in our late 20s and we are heading to prague for the first time this upcoming weekend. Any help with itineraries/restaurants/pubs would be greatly appreciated. When we do short trips like this we prefer to "get lost in the streets of the city" then take up too much time in any one museum/church/etc.
Any "have to dos" would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

http://www.prague.net/itineraries-in-prague
have a lok at this link, several suggested itinaries there.
Getting lost in Prague can be great fun and there is always a bar or resturant to fall into somewhere along the way.Hard for me to suggest bars as you are in a slightly (25 years or so)ypunger age group than me.
for more traditional places and brew pubs look at this link, most of these places also do pretty good local style food.

For more tendy style bars then have a look at this list.

I was in the KU bar a couple of years ago and did not like the place, the bar staff spent more time admiring each others trendy tattoos than serving ,i renamed it the FU bar.
but again I am of a different generation ,so horses for courses as they say.

U Cerneho Vola is an awesome pub near the castle...big communal tables, excellent bar bites, and a great atmosphere.
We found our favorite place at Divadelni Kavarna. We were definitely the only tourists or even non-regulars there...we got lots of looks, but slowly endeared ourselves to the locals. Awesome place.
Drink lots of Pilsener Urquelle and try some absinthe.
For sightseeing, I can highly recommend the Sandeman's New Europe free tour. It's three hours and they meet daily in Old Town Square in front of the Starbucks at 11am and 2pm. Our guide was super knowledgeable and also hilarious. We had a great time.
