Help with Tuscany lodging

I am planning a trip to Tuscany in July. I arrive in Rome at 9:00 am and plan to travel north. I have been looking for days on the internet for hotels/B&B's.
Help
Should I go to Montalcino (Giglio Hotel) or Montepulciano (Meuble Il Riccio)
In Sienna - I have chosen Il Casato
In Florence - Bernini Palace
and in Garfagnana - Rustico Sara
Does anyone know anything about these places or have others to recommend?
Thanks so much for any help!
Julia

I see that you have asked (more or less) the same question twice in a short period of time. Perhaps you couldn't tell if it "took", or were puzzled where your post was. Remember to "refresh" from time to time (f5) in Windows...

... and as more posts are added over the next hour... and next 24 hours... your post will be come all the more challenging to find.

And I see that you are new here - - how do I know that? just "click on your own name" (upper lefthand corner, once you are logged in) - - this is a valuable tip that Fodors fails to tell you when they send you that e-mail confirming your registration.

Best wishes,

Rex

You're very welcome. And might I suggest that you take a look at http://www.fodors.com/forums/threads...p;tid=34598057 and, as I have recommended in my first post there, e-mail a copy of THAT thread (or this one) to [email protected]

They need to hear this from newcomers - - that something as simple as how to re-locate your own posts shouldn't be something they fail to include in their instructions to (new) users.

Few enough visitors ever take the occasion to click on "HELP (little red letters in the upper lefthand corner) to read their FAQs - - but worse still, this particular (invaluable) tip isn't included in those anyway!
