Help with Trenitalia: How do I know what coach and seat to choose?

Hi

I am trying to buy tickets on line on Trenitalia's website for my sister and myself. We will be traveling from Milan to Venice May 4, 2008.

How do I fill in this part? There is no seating/coach chart to choose from. How do I know what carriage and seat to choose?

SEAT NEAR TO...
Enter the carriage and seat number beside which you wish to travel here:
Train Coach Seat

121 Cisalpino Monteverdi of 04/05/2008 from Milano Centrale (11:55) to Venezia S. Lucia (14:30) Coach: Seats:

Unless you guys can help, I think I'll just try to find a travel agent when we get to Milan, or just go to the station and buy tickets there.

Leave that part blank, it only applies if someone you know already has a ticket and you want to sit next to them.

Okay, I have another question. I've been on hold with Visa, but apparently they are busy, so I'll see if you guys would know.

When I get to the payment option, after credit card number, expiration date, etc, there is a box that says: CVV2/CVC2/4DBC* and it is mandatory. What does this mean?

It's probably the three-digit number on the back of the card next to where you sign your name.

I tried the three digit code, but it was still denied.

Maybe the bank needs to be notified?

Hi G,

If you click the information icon next to the little box that says CVV2, it will show you where to find the security code number.
