Help with Spain Trip in Late August

Hi There!

I'm planning a trip in Spain with a friend in late August around the 23rd. I understand it will be quite hot and busy with tourists, however this is the only time I can go on holidays. How unbearable will the temperatures be late August for Granada and Seville?

Can you please review the number of days at each location and confirm if the number of days in each place is fine or needs amending.

* fly into Barcelona or Madrid for 1 night

* fly to Majorca for 3 nights

* fly to Granada for 3 nights

* catch a train to Seville for 3 nights

* fly to Barcelona or Madrid for 1 night to catch flight home

Thanks in advance!

You are visiting the hottest parts of Spain but I think you know that. I think I would try to make more time in Barcelona if possible. You might fly into Barcelona and go directly to Seville by connecting flight. Spend 3 nights there, spend 2 nights in Granada, go to Majorca for 3 nights and back to Barcelona for your last 3 nights. Fly home from Barcelona. Don't bother with Madrid since you don't plan to stay there.

mamcalice has given you great advice.

Last 16 years statistics for final week of August in Sevilla says average daily highs at 93F and night lows at 66F.

Great intro to Sevilla: http://www.exploreseville.com/

And Barcelona is a fabulous city, excellent food, world class architecture, wonderful parks (Montjuic, Ciutadella etc. etc), sights and a long and vibrant city beach with all kinds of people and activities and loads of local feel tapas bars, restaurants and cafés in the just inland small, triangle Barceloneta neighbourhood. http://www.barcelonaturisme.com/

thanks mamcalice...

I have already been to Barcelona, Ibiza and San Sebastian on previous holidays.

Are there any other areas of Spain which will be bearable weather wise in August as an alternative to Seville and Granada?
