Help with planning a trip for October!

Jump to last reply

My friend and I are attempting to plan a trip to Europe from October 3- October 19 and will be flying from Boston. I have never been to Europe and she has only been to Ireland when she was younger to visit family. We will both be 24 by the time we travel and are having a difficult time deciding how to spend out time. Her family lives in Kerry Ireland and in Dublin and have told us we are welcome to stay with them. So free housing has us leaning towards spending a serious chunk of our time in Ireland.

We would like to see somewhere other than Ireland on this trip and cant decide how long to spend there and what other country to travel to. London has been an idea but neither of us are super sold on that being the absolute second part of our trip. We're young and are always on the move, we want to see and experience as much as we can on our trip. So we would like to go to a city that has a strong presence of a younger crowd. We have talked about maybe Paris or Barcelona.

Any ideas of how we should spend time on our trip and what a good idea of another place to visit would be greatly appreciated!
