Help with best mode of travel from Krakow to Berlin

Jump to last reply

i checked airberlin for krakow-berlin one way flights. it is pricing out at around $133 ( hefty $50+ fuel surcharge ). i am also looking at travelling by rail or driving, if road travel in the poland side is decent and straightforward like in germany. between airport security, travel to/from airport, 4-5 hours of rail or car travel will be a "wash" for my husband and me.

any suggestions as to which mode might be better in terms of time, cost, convenience, etc. we dont mind 4-5 hrs of driving sp. if there's some interestesting scenery and stops along the way, we're driven several times in europe. we're also ok with rail travel sp with interesting scenery along the way.

your input is greatly appreciated.
