Help with Anniversary Trip

Next year we are planning a trip to Europe starting in Prague (BIG Anniversary!)... (need help with what to see) for 3 days followed by Vienna for 3 days. (ditto) Then on to Austria. Been to Innsbruck and Salzburg before (one day) but not sure if we should plan on staying or go thru to Lucerne Switzerland. Then I need help --- we like to WALK - can no longer HIKE due to bad knees. Need info and help on staying in Interlaken or Murren. Is three days enough and what to do --- easy day hikes? (we are planning on doing the travel by train. Drove last time and my significant other wasn't to be able to look at the scenery and want to relax this time too!) Cannot afford the expensive excursion (can't remember the name_) but would like some options. Then on to Paris for flight home. Need ideas on what to see and all else. Not first time (been to Europe before) but never to Prague or Vienna. Can someone help? Also would it be better to book the trains separately or get some type of rail pass? Have lots of time to plan but need to start Can depart anytime between 9/15 and 11/15 --- when would weather be the best?
