Help Us Choose Between Two Agriturismos in the Val d'Orcia

Jump to last reply

We are planning a short three day, two night trip to the Val d'Orcia from Rome and planning to stay at an agriturismo. We have narrowed our search to two places.

1. Agriturismo La Fonte, about 4 km from Pienza.
2. Agriturismo Il Palazzo Dei Diavoli, about 2 km from Montepulciano.

Both have gotten good reviews on tripadvisor and each has its pros (La Fonte offers what looks like a great breakfast, the apartment at Diavoli has a huge terrace that seems to have better views from the website pictures). Which would you pick in terms of convenience, scenic beauty, and quality of accommodations?

We would welcome your views, particularly from those who have stayed at either or are familiar with the area.

Thanks in advance!
