Help-- Pontrasina or San Lorenzo di Sebato/Brunico for hiking

Jump to last reply

We want to spend 4 days hiking near the Dolomites in Italy or near Pontresina in Switz during the last week of August or in the first two week of September.

We' d like a place:
1. green/good scenery
2. where they are lifts/cable cars to go downhill
3. not too hot

We have been to Selva di val gardena. We love Wenger, murren.

Has anyone been to San Lorenzo di Sebata/Brunico? Are there good hiking/nice walks?

Is late August/early Sept a good time for the Dolomites? How hot does it get?

Our other alternative is Sils, Switzerland. Any suggestions are much appreciated.
