Help please with this villa close to Montespertoli-Florence in Tuscany ??
This will be our first time to Italy. Our plan is to spend 4 nights in venice (also see Murano and Burano), then 3-4 nights in Florence, then to Tuscany for 9-10 nights. What are your thoughts on its location? And is anyone familiar with this property? http://www.luxury-villas-in-tuscany.com/f213/index.htm
We were thinking of staying say 9 or 10 nights to allow us to visit the neighboring Pisa, Arezzo and Lucca and Siena. Any ideas, recomendations? Comments on the villa as well as itineary in general and sites that must be seen and any restaurant recommendations - any price range ok? This will be in June time period. Appreciate all the help we can get.

The villa seems a tad pricey. The pool looks nice, but the bedrooms and kitchen seem to be a bit more plain and small (hard to tell from the pix) than one would expect in that price range.
Location seems ok. Certainly easy enough for day tripping to a variety of places. But why so close to Florence? Since you are already staying there for 3 or 4 nights, I suggest southern Tuscany as something different, and IMO, more enticing.
But for the towns you want to see, this location is good. I guess. If it were me, I would want to base nearer to Arezzo, or south of Siena. Both areas have wonderful things to offer.

Hi Gargiulo, I like your timing but can't speak to the price of the villa-if you are splitting it with others, it looks fine to me. How nice to come home to your own place with a pool! My question is how many people and cars will you have? With 9-10 nights, you have time for some "serious" visiting but only day trips. My hub and I are train people so we would want to be in easy taxi distance so I'd agree with tuscanlife about being closer to Siena or Arezzo. If not all folks want to go in the same direction, how would that be handled? May you have a wonderful time and join the group who've been captivated by bella italia!

Check out B&B's. We loved theone we stayed in one in Lucca. Don't have the name with me right now. Also, Parkervillas.com is an agency I would recommend for renting villas. We stayed in a villa in Buonconvento in Tuscany last year and loved it. Parker Villas is an agency I would trust again to book with.
