Help for 15 day trip to Greece

Jump to last reply

I am planning a trip to Greece (1st time trip) in mid May to early June. Probably 15 days. 6 people: my husband and I, my son and daughter in law (28), and my daughter and friend (19). In researching, I am interested in the Peloponnese region and maybe an island or two. I wanted to book flights after doing extensive research, but in checking prices they have already jumped from $1500 to $1900 per ticket, so I feel like I need to lock those in asap! Would I definitely fly in and out of Athens? And which islands would be doable along with the Peloponnese region? I have put in over 30 hours of research and feel very confused over what to choose. We want to see ancient sites, but I would say our biggest joy in travel is walking through different towns, food, and even beaches. So not heavy on ancient sites! Thanks for any help!
